Aside from the cheesy title, I'm not even gonna say much about this one, just to say that these are Star Wars fonts and typography being used to create images of characters and Star Wars ideology.
Mission statement
Star Wars: an epic film franchise that first began with "A New Hope" in 1977, although did it really begin then? Episode 1 - "A Phantom Menace" - was released over 20 years later as the batch of CGI prequels renewed interest in the Star Wars series, and there may even be more films to come. Star Wars is a hugely successful franchise, and has clearly captured the collective imagination. The archetypes and universal characters of the Star Wars world capture something deep in all of us. The philosophy of the Star Wars films is also very interesting, with the Jedi and the Sith representing polarities of experience. The Jedi philosophy is very related to Zen, and The Force is a direct reference to Zen and other eastern philosophies.
The premise of this blog is to showcase the many new innovations, inventions, artefacts and ideas that are inspired by the pop-culture phenomenon known as "Star Wars." It is amazing how many Star Wars-inspired things constantly pop up, and it doesn't seem like people can get enough. From Star Wars tattoos to Storm Trooper helmets and Darth Vaders made out of Lego, fans always find new ways to show their adoration. I for one am determined to get to the bottom of why our culture is so persistently fascinated by these films and the mythology surrounding them. This blog will explore and document the ongoing cultural fascination of the pop phenomenon known as "Star Wars".

Volde VS Vader
Voldemort or whatever his damn name is - that lame baddie from Harry Potter - he's up against Darth Vader to see who's badder. One look and you can tell Darth Vader's a badass and Voldemort's a tryhard. Anyway, some - surprise surprise - geeks have formulated this chart to decide how evil these villains are. I question some of their criteria, but I'll humour it. Apparently, Voldemort is more evil, but the whole thing is a disaster. Let's just say it wouldn't hold up in a court of law, or lore as the case may be HAHA!!
Your likeness in clay
Who could forget the amazing image of Han Solo frozen in carbonite? How moving it was! Fans can now take it to the next level and get frozen in carbonite just like - their hero - Han Solo. The artist Paul Pape has organised this venture; the idea being that you send him a photo and he sculpts your likeness from polymer clay. So let's get this straight; it's not you but an impression generated from a photo of you, and it's not carbonite but plastic clay? So it's not really like the Han Solo thing at all, but just enough for hardcore geeks to rub their hands together. Personally, I'd rather hang a bronze mold of my private parts on the wall than this, but that's just me.

R2D2 indeed
Have a look at this display of disrespect to one of the best-loved characters in Star Wars. R2D2 has now been reduced to a garment of some description. I'm not sure if this is a swimsuit, a sexy outfit, or a halloween costume, but one thing is for sure; she looks nothing like R2D2. It's kind of funny how she's taking a photo of herself and for some reason she wants the dog there too EVEN THOUGH IT WON'T FIT IN THE PICTURE! Maybe she wants the dog for moral support, but I don't think it's interested in her sacrilege of impersonating a classic droid. And what's with the tattoos? Very unR2D2.
Travel to the Stars
The various locations that featured in the popular documentary series Star Wars have been enticingly displayed in travel posters by the great Steve Thomas. These posters feature places from Star Wars as if they were on a poster encouraging you to actually go there or engage in Star Wars-related activities. The posters also have a nostalgic feel that true fans will enjoy!

Driving in the Falcon
Here's another fan going to lengths to express their Star Wars feelings. The driver of this vehicle must get some kind of thrill out of thinking that in some way using some kind of logic they are driving the Millenium Falcon. Except for some reason the Millenium Falcon has transformed into a Honda Fit and the car is driving on the ground instead of flying through an asteroid field...but you get the idea, it's Chewie and Luke at the helm. Overall, the illusion's not very believable, but it's still a pretty good decoration for the window.
